After a year’s sabbatical in 2006/2007, Kevin returned to England in November 2007, and was pleased to take over from Robert Louth at Theale Dental Surgery. After 33 years in dentistry, Kevin is very experienced and enjoys all areas of Preventive, Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry.
I love my job as a family dentist at Theale Dental Surgery. I aim to create a relaxed, friendly and informed patient experience. Since graduating from The University of Bristol in 2012, I have gained experience in restorative dentistry and regularly attend postgraduate courses. I have built surgical skills and treated many anxious patients with complex clinical needs during a year working in an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery role. I am particularly interested in treating patients with gum disease, which in turn can improve a patient’s general health.
Other interests include tennis, Scottish dancing, travel and visiting North Devon.
Laura joined the practice in 1999 as a part-time receptionist. Having worked her way up to non-clinical Practice Manager, Laura has become the heart of the practice supporting both staff and patients. Her ready smile and positive attitude has endeared her to many of the patients over the years and her continuing professional development has helped in mentoring new members of the team and leading meetings.
Laura has 3 grown-up sons, Nick, Simon and Jamie.
In her spare time, Laura loves travelling, the Greek islands being a particular favourite, cooking for friends and family, pilates and going to the theatre.
